Let me share my study style and note's taking method. Firstly, I am a visual learner thus pictures really help my memorization. Stories and acronym too! I prefer quiet place for study and only with a small circle of people. I can study alone too. If the subject doesn't require deep thinking or such I can study while listening to music but if the subject require deep thinking I prefer not listening to any music because it can distract my attention. I also found different types of music can bring different impact to me when doing practices. For notes, I really love using sticky notes and highlighter because I can see clearly the main points or additional points. For me, jot down notes and typing them down both have benefits and disadvantages. The most important thing is knowing which one suit what subject the best.
